We are currently in the process of planning an event for the communities in the Saw Kill Watershed to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the first pact ever created in this area for the conservation of the Saw Kill! This event is planned for April 2016 and more announcements will be made as the details emerge.

The grand opening of the Bard Water Lab is also scheduled for April 2016 and more information will be sent out as planning commences!

January 2016 and on

Saw Kill Watershed Community meetings will commence on a monthly basis starting in January–members of the public are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Additional tree planting and clean up events will be scheduled by the stewardship group in the coming year.

The tree planting event at the Saw Kill Farm in Red Hook was a great success! One more step in protecting the Saw Kill from fertilizer and runoff.

The Day in the Life of the Hudson event at Bard College on October 20th was a huge success! Junior and senior students from Red Hook High School participated in a series of mini lessons on how to assess the biodiversity, physical and chemical conditions of the Hudson River.
